As an Engagement Photographer, I am still swooning over this engagement session.
Lifestyle couples photography is a style of photography that I enjoy the most. I love being with the couples in their own environment doing whatever they enjoy doing during any regular weekend.
Couples feel more at ease and they express themselves effortlessly, comfortable, with authenticity. When I met Sotiris and Stephanie they were relaxed and enjoying that beautiful Friday evening.
Pre-wedding shoot or engagement session isn’t just a photo shoot, it’s a couple’s opportunity to live a fantasy. Without the time pressure of the wedding day or the throngs of family members milling about and accidentally wandering into the shot. In other words, the pre-wedding shoot is the couple’s chance to take the shots they want to take. And I mean the ones they really want to take, the ones they’ve always dreamed of taking.
One of the most common questions I get asked is “what do we wear for our portrait session?” So if you are feeling at a loss of where to start- I have put together my top 5 tips for what to wear for your portrait session to help you plan the perfect outfit to help show case the your real you.
- Choose clothes that reflect your personality & that you feel comfortable in
- Complement each other.. this doesn’t mean you have to ‘match’
- Bold is good & layers are better
- Keep the season in mind & location of your shoot
- More options, the merrier.
