Elena and Kyriakos chose the picturesque steps of the church at Lake Zirou for their dreamy bohemian-style wedding. Against the backdrop of this beautiful venue, the groom, adorned in a three-piece suit from Portobello’s, eagerly awaited the arrival of the bride.
Elena looked more radiant than ever in a breathtaking boho wedding dress from VG Zolotas, complemented by a long tulle veil. Elpida Salouka, the creative mind behind the decor, added a touch of tradition with pots at the church entrance adorned with orange pampas grass, hydrangeas, roses, dried flowers, and macrame.
The rustic-chic vibe continued at the wedding reception with small clay flower pot centerpieces on the tables, enhancing the overall decor. The night concluded with a memorable wedding party featuring a unique menu crafted by Mamalis Catering.
Romantic Journey and Special Moments:
Elena and Kyriakos shared their romantic journey, from their first handshake on Easter 2015 to their official meeting on August 4, 2016, during a football match. Their anniversary, celebrated on August 6th, holds special memories, including a Peloponnese motorbike trip in August 2020, where Kyriakos proposed with a specially designed ring made from a small bearing from a steamer.
Elena’s Delight and Advice:
Elena expressed her delight in finding her dream wedding dress at Atelier Zolotas and praised Elpida Salouka’s expertise in handling the wedding decor with rustic shades. Her favorite moment was walking up to the chapel with her parents and loved ones while Epirus clarinets played in the background.
Offering advice to future brides, Elena shared, “Think of it as just another party. There will be other parties; it’s just that you’re the star. Enjoy!”
