Boho Wedding Photographer
The term Bohemianism suffices to evoke an unconventional lifestyle laden with accents of artistry, poetic beauty, and carefree spiritualism. For instance, bohemians have constantly been deemed as wanderers and adventurers whose flourish-loving souls found pleasure in the simpler joys in life.
Henri Murger’s collection of short stories “Scènes de la Vie de Bohème” published in 1845. Glorified and legitimized Bohemia and formed the basis of Giacomo Puccini’s opera La bohème (1896) which was our main inspiration for this shoot.
We took to heart the words from the libretto reading “Who cannot feel dazed in the delicate profile of a woman”. Wished to interpret them into a bride who is as shocking as carefree. The bend within the plot? Extravagance! Our bride is not a gypsette but an haute boheme.
No venue may have been more fitting to channel our motivation than Hadjiantonas Vineyard. The conventional building that stands immortal as the ancient Montmartre homes. Their long stonework staircases, wooden windows and imaginative railing overhangs see over a little tolerate fixing the vineyard.
Intentionally bringing together statement making elements that juxtapose one another, we sourced a main body of dry florals Lunaria seeds, Poppy Seed heads, Pampas grass, Bunny tail, and dried Ammi blossoms, that extol the beauty of nature even at its most distressed, while adding in opulent tableware by Casa De Perrin, Anna Porcelain and Sintra plates, refined Louis linen furnishings and gold cutlery.
In our books no wedding is complete without candles or perfectly pitched without theme evoking paper suites. We went for handmade tailored paper for the carefree abandon of bohemia and luxury stirring wax seals to up the ante for that sumptuous feel.
The best team
As our bride is an absolute beauty we wished for her makeup and hair to get a fresh updated look. adding a touch of sweet decadence to her updo with a hair brooch tailored of dried blooms that would compliment her wedding gown and nod to our bouquet and floral arrangements.
We were so happy to work with Boho Wedding Photographer Mr. Panayiotis Hadjiapostolou who captured our vision in delicate imagery and of course we would like to thank each and every creative who assisted in breathing life to our inspiration.
